Folklore and fun petit dejeuner/ breakfast set

Description

A lovely petit dejeuner/breakfast set from my folklore and fun series. The set consists of a vintage breakfast plate and a matching cup & saucer, to which I added my colorful screenprinted decorations. This crockery is over 40 years old, but still in a perfect condition.

A bit more about the history of these vintage plate sets:
These vintage 1960s breakfast plates and cup & saucers are showing people in the Dutch folkloristic costumes they wore back then in certain communities. Nowadays the plates & cups & saucers are popular collector's items in the Netherlands. I added some colorful accents that make these plates look fun, modern and happy. The original sets consisted of six different plates & cups/saucers, each referring to a different city & costume.

These sets are fired on a high temperature and are therefore fit for daily use. However, it's really old and best treated gently! I don't recommend putting them in the dishwasher (though it shouldn't be a problem if it happens once ;)): it should be dishwasher-safe, but I can't guarantee the colors remain as vivid as they are now in the long run. So just a bit of hot water and soap will keep them in good shape!
