"Gossip Queen", by Lynn Cyr

I've been wanting to paint Raspberries for a long time, and wanted to paint it in a similar style as my "cherries" painting from a few months ago. I just loved the bright, juicy reds against a stark white background.

So outside I went to take some reference photos, and settled on this arrangement. The way the berries were placed, it looked as if the one on the right was whispering in the left one's ear. And the left one was making an "OMG" face - LOVED that! So that's where the title comes from - "Gossip Queen" :)

Painted in oils on a 12 x 12" gallery-wrapped canvas, it's an ORIGINAL (not a print) and signed by the artist (me!). Because all edges of the canvas are painted, the buyer can choose to hang it as-is, or else frame it on their own to match their decor.
