I designed my bento bags originally to accommodate a 500ml 2 tier Japanese bento style lunch box and a bottle of water or juice for my son. (Also will hold a longer bento box, but you'll have to put drinks on top of the box.) The bag folds up small enough to be tucked in a purse or pocket for storage.

The matching elastic band is a great way to help keep your bento box together! My first bento box came with one and I wanted bands for the rest of my boxes.

I'll include a free gift with this set.


I realize not everyone will pack bento lunches. Other uses:

I purposely left the back of the label blank so you can put your child's name (or your own) on the label, specially prepared so permanent markers won't bleed on the tag fabric.

Reusable cotton bag - so it's eco-friendly and washer and dryer friendly. (I recommend buying 2 bags at a time, so you can have one to use and while one is in the wash.)

12" (30.5 cm) across at bottom
9 1/2" (24.1 cm) tall to handles
12" (30.5 cm) tall with handles
5 1/2" (13.9 cm) wide at base

Band fits boxes up to 15 inches (38 cm) around.
