I will also include 1/2 to 1 oz of fiber as a little gift with the spindles purchased from this section. (My choice- may be dyed or undyed- could be roving, locks, top, a batt, wool, silk, soysilk... you get the idea.)

This is a drop spindle for hand spinning yarn with a beautiful mookaite whorl. The shaft is a carved warm red rosewood, and the hook is a heavy gold filled wire which I hand bend, set, and file smooth forming a graceful, balanced curve.
