Beautiful Hot Hand Dyed Colors Art to Wear Scarf Wild Tendrils and Buttons

This is one of the first scarves I made, back before I had a serger (and then my conventional machine stood up and asked me how I would feel if the motor burned out)so imagine how much bobbin winding was involved ;)

This one is very long, with vintage button accents and a marbled lime green matched up with a pure violet blue. One of the last pieces from that particular marbled green dye lot.

These scarves are made of "slinky," a fabric that is primarily spandex or lycra depending on manufacturer. All slinky used for these pieces is upcycled and repurposed. Any groups that have been dyed are part of a lot that will likely never be repeated because I don't write down how I do it. I like to be a bit experimental with the dyeing.
