THIS ONLINE CLASS IS FOR THE WOOL LAMB.

I am very excited to share my knowledge on creating your very own 2-1/2 inch wool needle felted lamb through my online class. This listing is for my beginner "ONLINE WOOL NEEDLE FELTED LAMB CLASS © 2007" and not for the actual wool lamb that is shown in the photos. I am thrilled to be able to offer this class! Online classes are so wonderful as the student receives many color photos along with the instructions! You will be learning how to needle felt a shape and even make simple wire armatures for the lamb's legs. This lamb class is perfect for someone who has never needle felted before. After completing this class you would be able to take any of my intermediate needle felting classes that I offer on ETSY! I have an online needle felting doll and mouse class listed too. I recently packed up kits for Etsy for the online mouse and lamb classes!


Needle felting is an awesome art to learn as it is relatively inexpensive and very relaxing. There are few supplies needed when needle felting.

I will send the two lesson online class to your email address in a PDF file. PDF files make it possible for most people to receive the class information. In receiving my class there are two PFD files to open starting with Lesson #1 and ending in Lesson #2. I have 48 color photos for you to follow included in this class along with my easy-to-read instructions. You may print one copy of each lesson for your records if you'd like and it is not to be shared with any other person. My online classes are copyrighted 2007.

In this class you will be creating a 2-1/2 inch wool needle felted lamb. For those of you who are not familiar with online classes it is a really fun way to learn new and exciting techniques for needle felting in the comfort of your own home!

This class may not be for anyone who has a slow speed connection on their computer for receiving photos. It is necessary to have a high speed connection on your computer as I have many photos in each of the lessons. It is also necessary to be sure your computer can handle the PDF file size for each lesson. I have optimized my photos for the class however I will list the MB for each lesson below.

Lesson #1 has 1.7MB
Lesson #2 has 1.2MB


This will be a two-lesson class as shown below:

Lesson #1- Needle felting the body and making the legs

Lesson #2- Creating the face and attaching the yarn and flowers to the body


A supply list will be included in your first lesson.

The top photo is an example of a lamb that you would be learning to create. The lamb is made from a blend of wool and the lamb's coat is made from yarn. The charming lamb is solid wool to the core and has wire armatures inside the legs. The legs on the lamb are in a permanent position. Everyone needle felts a little differently and each creation will vary. The little lamb is so darling when posed with another lamb or along side a different needle felted creation as shown in the third photo. This class is for the wool lamb and not the wool mouse.

For those who have not needle felted this is a process of poking fluffy wool with a barbed needle hundreds of times to sculpt a shape. Needle felting is basically sculpting and painting with wool! The wool lamb you will be creating is not intended for children or pets.
