NOVA

i saw her in a rainstorm,
huddled under a tree

her embroidered dress dripping
curls catching rain and streaming
sequins shining in the muted light

i wonder if she knew how
beautiful she was in that moment
to me

as she waited for the rain to end
so she could finish her dance
radiant woman
gypsy calico queen

moments stolen in silence
sideway glances
betray me

i love this yarn so much it has me writing poetry for it.
NOVA is full of treasures i have been keeping in a treasure box for over two years. pieces of priceless locks tight in perfection, silk nubs that dyed just right. a gradient dye job that was a chance masterpiece all on it's own...

i took all these treasures and placed them in my bulky drum carder and made a the batt of pirate's dreams.
there is so many little bits of excellence that i won't name them all, but the one who gets NOVA will discover them for themselves.

NOVA:

lambie cotswold, merino, bl lamb, recycled mill end wool, sparkle of copper, gold and silver, glitz, muted glamour,silk strands, silk nubs, silk noils, tons of silk!

all spun thick and thin, super bulky with huge locks tailspun for texture and sheen, wrapped with copper sparkle thread.

this yarn has many more additions and is a once in a while treasure. gotta collect more for my treasure trove.
