Description
Sometimes the simplest things are best.The large sunshine yellow citrine briolette drops that I've used in these earrings are of excellent quality. Beautifully cut, and a deep, lemony yellow; they are a couple of wonderful rocks.
The briolette drops measure about 18mm in length, with a combined weight of 34.6 carats. These are substantial stones, flawlessly clear, and skillfully faceted for a sparkle that is downright dazzling*. I've taken most of the pictures at a lower light level than usual, so you can see what I mean.
The earrings are just over 2.5 inches (6.3cm) long from the bottoms, and two inches long from the tops, of elongated sterling silver earwires.
The briolette drops are natural citrine, which has been heated to enhance its beauty.
