Shuan Plum
Description
I have always been fascinated by the wonderful twisting shapes and rough bark of plum trees. Even better is the contrast when they are in bloom. That contrast has become a symbol of rejuvination, which I hope you enjoy as much as I do. I really love the extra texture and detail that comes out when painted on sized rice paper like this.This is an original sumi-e painting on 9.5x12.5" sized shuan rice paper which has been mounted to watercolor paper.
