Description

"Delta" is a stunning collar of unpolished chunks of Baltic Amber. Small pieces of amber such as these wash up on beaches along the Baltic Sea after storms. Millions of years old, such tiny golden remnants of ancient forests have been traded around the world throughout human history.

This necklace measures 18" (45.5 cm). The beads are incredibly light, making this substantial-looking necklace comfortable to wear.

Every link has been hand forged from sterling silver wire. There is a simple hook and eye clasp at the back, and links may be added to make the necklace longer. Please inquire if you are interested in this option.

To care for this necklace, keep it in an airtight container, even something as simple as a ziplock bag. The silver has a gentle patina to it and will continue to darken over time and wear. To prolong the natural color and beauty of the amber beads, please keep this necklace away from perfume, hairspray, chemicals, and cleaning solvents. Lightly buff with a soft cloth and warm water to clean.
