Amethyst is the birthstone for February, and it is a gorgeous, deep purple that works with in just about any season. This amethyst is a rough crystal, for a very natural look. Because this stone is left rough, it is a unique piece, but I can make earrings or similar necklaces using other rough amethysts approximately the same size.

The chain on this necklace is 18 inches long.
