Faceted Shino Teapot with Four Cups
Description
This gorgeous teapot and the four matching cups was wheel thrown with an iron rich stoneware. A combination of shino glazes was applied prior to firing in a gas kiln to approximately 2300 degrees fahrenheit. Firing in a reduced atmosphere at high temperatures helped to produce the lustrous sheen with some tiny crystals.The teapot holds 32 ounces and each cup holds 6 ounces.
Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
