YO, Mr. Greenjeans... a luscious viny composition of verdant Flowers and beads(125pieces)1

Wayyyyyy back, perhaps even before Mr. Rogers, there was a t.v. show called CAPTAIN KANGAROO. The captain was a nice enough old fellow who entertained hoards of kidlets with whatever he and his crew could think of.Mostly puppets, grandfatherly interactions,guest visitors and some cartoons . Perhaps he was a prototype for Krusty-The-Clown??? Who knows? In the way of the world, he had a sidekick... Mr. Greenjeans. I don't know what he did, and suspect that Sideshow Bob was not one of his disciples... but he had the captain's back somehow.(Wikepedia says he brought in animals for the kids to see and play with).
This may be why I grew up wanting a pair of green colored jeans. Once the idea is planted in your head, you probably should just go with it.... it seems benign enough. Yet more fodder for some hungry therapist...

So my straw hat is doffed to the denim overall garbed sidekick that got some air time. And here is my tiny contribution in a t.v. trivia induced mix. I hope to grope at some greenery in the downswing of a New England winter. Thanks so much for watching.

INGREDIENTS
*a mixture of pale to darker, YELLOW to blue GREEN flowers The flowers are most likely from the seventies or sixties... when it was a law in the land to admire "FLOWER POWER". They range in size from to inches.

*As if that were not enough to access your inner hippie, there are mixed Lucite, moonglow, irridescent,swirly beads to go with. Long ones, short ones, middle ones... just what my whims and sense of ease will pop together. These range in size from to inches and are intended to fit with the flowers. feel free to access your own alchemy.

*For those accountants out there, the mixola is 3/5 flowers(75) and 2/5 beads(50). I really try to count carefully, but there is bedlam all around me. so usually there are a couple extras tucked in for good measure.
