Can you smell the tomatoe soup and the cherry pie aromas filling the kitchen?

I thought that these tags turned out so cute! I love red accents in a kitchen and I thought that this set of tags would look so cute displayed in a frame in your retro country kitchen or incorporated into a retro kitchen collage! Don't you think so too?? OR they would make cute tags for all of those yummy hand baked good and soup in a jar mixes that you may be planning on for Christmas gifts!
Great for gift packages, scrapbooking pages and I am sure you can come up with all sorts of ways to incorporate these cute tags!

First I stained these tags in a coffee for a couple of days to age them a bit and give them an old look. So, yes they do smell like coffee!! I further aged them with a bit of distressing ink and then began embellishing them with cute images of Grand Canon Pitted Red Cherries and Tip-Top Brand Tomotoes with Puree images. Red and white polka dot card stock serves as a background for the images and I also hand punched cute little hearts and flowers from the same card stock and applied them to the tags and I added a red button to each. I also added some second hand crocheted trim that I found on one of my flea market excursions to the bottom. Topped with vintage lipstick red seam binding.

Aren't they adorable?!?!
