Katsara Ruana Wrap

Description

Reviving my ruanas from the 1990's, this time around I'm making them more lacy and dramatic, using blends of chunky soft wool yarns in an open stitch, and trimmed all around with a contrasting color plus a touch of feathery fur. The arm-openings are also trimmed to give the look of sleeves. You can wear this drawn up close around your neck, or off the shoulders as a gorgeous shawl. The 3rd picture shows it anchored at the neck with one my Relic Pins (these are available here in this store.)

The yarns are all very soft yarns and comfortable on the skin. This feels both airy and cozy, and adds style and warmth to a cocktail dress or bare camisole top or a plain sweater dress.

SIZE: As a ruana This is best for medium to large. If you are very petite, I would, suggest a smaller size. As a shawl, this is fine for all sizes.
