Wonderful Rescued Vintage Trim- Handmade OOAK- altered couture, upcycle, mixed media

Description

This is a gorgeous, rich looking trim.
Another rescue from an otherwise unwearable garment. It is handmade as you can see from the hand stitching on the reverse side.
Would be wonderful for a little wristlet or phone cozy, trim the ends of a long scarf, the bodice of a dress, the cuffs of a jacket, the hem of a skirt. Use in mixed media art projects and art quilts.

Measurements: approximately 4.25 inches wide x 1 yard.
I believe it is silk.

There is a hem along both edges of the trim which can be opened up for another inch or so of width.

I have several yards of this though not always in one length.
