Dreamy Raku - Glass Focal Bead Set - SRA

If you love Raku here is another one of my forays into raku. I love all the different colors that pop out in the little bits of raku glass they really show up well. There are four spacers that are the same color as the base bead all a yummy color called Crocus. The focal bead measures 21.5mm x 37.5mm(.84" x 1.47"), the matching spacers measure approx. 5mm x 11mm and all were wound on a 1/8" mandrel.

Each of my beads is made by me, one by one, in my home studio. Most of my beads are made of designer glass that is handcrafted by artisan glass makers and usually produced in small quantities in unique color sets. I also use many of the well known Italian glass types that have been around for years.

The actual colors of the beads may vary somewhat from what you see on your computer due to different settings on cameras and monitors. Hopefully my description of the bead(s) will help with that! The beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.
