When we picked up our summer plums from the farmers this year, they were so juicy and delicious they were literally bursting at seams. We mixed them with a some ground Sichuan Peppers that we picked up in Paris last spring. The sweetness of the plum is matched by the citrus and warm flavor of the Sichuan pepper.This jam will leave a nice warm taste on your tongue and have you dreaming of fall days walking around a beautiful city.
You can carry the jar with your in your city bag to eat it by the spoonful. The jam is elegant enough to serve at a dinner party or to bring along as a hostess gift.
