As always, you can’t beat the color black for elegance and this third version of my original design for the Kimono Sleeved Shrug is pure and simple élan. It is a Made To Order item, so please allow at least 7 working days for dispatch.

The key to the beauty of this shrug lies not only in the color but in the design. Please, check out the images of this shrug. The first picture shows the weave of this new design.

The neckline is a tighter interweave than the body of the garment and about 2 inches or so down from the neckline, in the back of the shrug, there is another line of tighter weave. You will notice the same tighter knit at the shoulders and down the sleeve. The result is a gorgeous accent to this new shrug.

The Kimono sleeves are also knitted with a pattern of change in the weaving. These simple changes create the absolute gracefulness to be found in this luxurious garment knitted from 25% Kid Mohair/75% Acrylic blend yarn.

Notice the second and third images and see how this cardigan can be worn in a loose casual way, in a drape without the belt.

In the last two images the shrug worn with the belt creates a sort of “tuxedo” look that is pure sophisticated glamour. Either way you wear it, this cardigan is truly exquisite.

Don’t be put off by the open weave; this cardigan is really warm. It is perfect for layering over a t-shirt, a strappy dress or, for colder conditions; you can layer it over a long sleeved top.
