Squirrel Nutkin Real acorn cap and amber colored vintage bead earrings

Description

These earrings are made from genuine acorn caps, vintage amber-colored glass beads, and copper findings. The ear wires are niobium.

The acorn caps were selected for their size, color, and shape. Then they were soaked and carefully scrubbed clean with antibacterial soap. After being allowed to dry fully, the acorn caps are drilled and sealed with Triple Thick Diamond Glaze.

Inside each acorn cap, I placed a beautiful, amber-colored, faceted glass bead. Not only was this bead a perfect fit for the acorn caps, but it also looks very natural.

All of the findings in this pair of earrings are copper, except for the niobium ear wires. The ear wires are hypoallergenic niobium. Niobium is the perfect solution for brass and copper ear wires, which can irritate some peoples ears. Niobium can even be worn by people whose ears are sensitive to sterling silver.

Total length of these earrings is 45mm.

Inspiration behind this Product:
I live on nearly four acres of wood and am surrounded by nature. I have, at my disposal, Ohio Red Buckeyes, Contorted Filberts, quartz deposits, and Oak trees. As As I learn more about the plant and geological material that exists on my land, I find it making its way into my jewelry more and more. Even though I carefully select my materials, please remember that they are natural and allow for slight irregularities.
