where the wild things are MAX silver pendant WTWTA

Description

I made my own version of "Max" for a Montreal gallery show featuring artwork inspired by Maurice Sendak's 1963 book "Where The Wild Things Are". I put "Max" and a little "Carol" in a little glass terrarium full of moss and succulents.

He's cast in solid sterling silver, hand finished, then oxidized to bring out the details, and the polished to a high shine. He's got button details on his outfit, including a trapdoor with tiny buttons in the back.

Comes on a sturdy 18" sterling silver chain plated in rhodium so it won't tarnished. He stands at 1" tall, and 1.25" tall including the jump ring.

These are made to order- usually takes about 10 days to make.

Available exclusively in my etsy shop.
Comes on a numbered card. Limited edition of 100.
