Shabby grey and mauve big button doily brooch - The silver trees

A big button dominates the centre of this brooch- perfect for people who don't mind a bit of attention!

Layers of hand-dyed vintage textile including crocheted doily rounds, tulle net and shredded lace ribbon nest under the button, a resin piece from about the 1950s with a silver sheen like woodwork.

Measuring approximately 90mm across (the button alone measure 45mm), the brooch is backed in hand dyed pale mauve vintage wool felt and secures to whatever you wish with an embedded silver bar pin.
