Hand Dyed Hand Knitted Socks Lady Sings the Blues

These beautifully dyed expertly knitted socks make a great gift for someone you love.

Fits sizes 9 1/2 to 11. Men or Women

They are made from Gems Merino sport weight (fine #2). This yarn is custom spun for Louet North America. It is worsted spun with a tight twist to minimize pilling while maintaining a high elasticity. The yarn is then steamed for the softest touch. This combination allows for excellent stitch definition.

It is 100% wool and machine washable and dryable.

It was hand dyed using commercial Gaywool dyes.

When wool is treated to make it machine wasable and dryable the treatment also makes it wearable by those who find wool 'scratchy'.
