Fall Fiesta Lap or Throw Quilt-Kaffe Fassett Fabrics

Description

This beautiful handmade quilt is bursting with fall color! The deep magentas, reds, purples, fuschias, brown and gold all come together in a mix reminiscent of a Mexican Fiesta! These bright fabrics come from several collections by Kaffe Fassett, Philip Jacobs, and Martha Negley.

This quilt measures 54" x 68" which is perfect to use as a lap quilt or throw. Tossed over the back of a couch will add instant color to the room. Folded at the end of a bed looks awesome, and it's a good size for covering the top of a twin bed.

I machine quilted this quilt with Warm and White cotton batting. The quilting is a free hand, all-over meander design with a deep red cotton thread. The scrappy binding is made double with leftovers from the top. This is sewn to the front, then turned to the back and hand stitched down to finish.

Wherever this quilt is used, all the gorgeousness of fall will be brought to the room!
