I love the look of intricate applique quilts and hooked rugs, but I don't have the patience (or the extensive fabric stash) for such things, so I designed these Cheater Quilts as a painterly alternative.

Five story-time favorites are represented on this 17" x 24"
painted art quilt. Miss Muffet sits woefully next to a dangling spider, while Goldilocks clutches her three favorite bears. Little Red Riding Hood is carrying her basket of goodies to Grandma’s house, along with a little wolfy friend. Mary and her little lamb are all ready for a day at school, and Alice brought two friends back from Wonderland.
