Blue Vinework Coffee Mug -- smaller

Description

This colorful mug was handpainted using the traditional maiolica technique in a combination of blue, reg, yellow, and green. The decoration of this mug was inspired by traditional ceramic geometric designs of 16th century Italy.

This mug was hand thrown on a potter's wheel with earthenware clay and handpainted using non-toxic, food safe glazes. The handle features a small thumb stopper along the top rim. It is one of two mugs I am offering in this pattern. The first mug is 4 3/8 inches high and the second is slightly smaller at 4 1/4 inches high. This listing is for the smaller 4 1/4 inch high mug.

This piece should be hand washed to prevent chipping, but can be occasionally washed on the top rack of a dishwasher.
