Fern Original Painting

Description

In 2009 I am creating one piece of artwork every day. This piece is part of that project. I think ferns are one of the most interesting plants in the garden. Everyone should have some. They go through so many changes throughout the seasons. This is the Fiddle Head, its spring incarnation.

Title: "Fern One"

This painting is 5(wide) x 7(tall) inches.
It is painted on a canvas board. The painting has been signed and titled by me on the back. It will fit easily into a standard sized frame, or you can lean it on a book shelf or display it on a little easle.

Some lines in the painting are raised and have a wonderful texture. The scan does not do it justice. The painting looks much richer in person.

Original artwork is a great gift that will always be unique and special. I hope you find a place for it in your own collection, or perhaps this becomes the first piece to start a collection.
