Vintage Glass Komboloi Greek Worry Beads
Description
Lose your worries with this vintage set of Greek worry beads.Greek worry beads are also known as komboloi. This set dates from the late sixties and is made of glass beads on a brass chain with a brass chain tassel on the end.There is a filigree cap over the tassel. 17 clear based beads with red granular "crumbs" covering each bead giving the beads a burgundy color.
They are strung on a quite strong linked chain. (See detail in picture at right)
The komboloi measures 8 inches from end of tassel to top.
