Description

Jack Frost skips through the woods adorning the trees with crisp, glistening robes.

Hand-crafted using a wet felting technique, each piece is a spontaneous creation and one of a kind. Starting life as a tiny seed of wool fibre, growing outwards and upwards an organic alchemy of fleece and hands.

An ongoing creative process, the variety of the form allows you to create, draping, wrapping and twisting. Unusually this piece does not contain knotholes, but instead wraps effortlessly around your form.

Size: This piece is approximately 1.70 metres/ 5' 8"

Colours: natural white, sea green, aqua, chocolate, natural brown

*A NOTE ABOUT MERINO WOOL*
I was saddened to learn about the practice of museling on Merino Sheep in Australia, as a result of this I am now guaranteeing that all of my work is created with non-museled Merino wool fibre.
Things are gradually changing for the Aussie Merino's but until I'm 100% sure I won't be using it.
