Handmade Quilt for Fundraiser - made in both The Gambia and Canada

My oldest son is going with a group of Venturers and Rovers (in Scouting) to The Gambia, Africa to build a Skills Training Centre in the village of Sanyang.

This quilt is the result of a combined effort between the villagers in Sanyang and one of the leaders here in Nova Scotia. The 100% cotton material was bought in a village a couple of hours from Sanyang, brought to Sanyang to be cut and hand-dyed in a tie-dye fashion. The material was then brought to Nova Scotia, where it was used to make a quilt.

It features gorgeous colours of purple and blue with white accents. It is approximately 226 cm x 190 cm. It is made in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.

Please note that all proceeds (minus Etsy & PayPal fees) are being donated to the actual building supplies for the project. None of the fundraising money collected on this quilt will be used towards personal costs, such as air fare, food, etc. It all goes towards building supplies, such as cement, wood, etc.

The shipping rates posted below are all via Expedited in Canada and the US, and Express for International shipping. This cost includes tracking and insurance. Should you wish for a cheaper shipping rate, I can certainly ship it surface mail without tracking and insurance. Please convo me and I will find out from Canada Post what the slower, cheaper rate would be.
