Thaumatrope. Inside my head.

Description

A thaumatrope was a popular Victorian toy- an image is printed on each side, and when the strings are twirled, they combine to form one image. A pleasing optical illusion.

On this one a phrenology head on one side combines with a brain on the other so that twizzling it inserts a brain in my noggin. It's smashing, and once you have finished playing it looks very nice displayed hanging on a wall or else where (since it is quite small and portable)

A 4 inch chipboard circle has been lovingly painted distressed and printed very dark brown waterproof acrylic ink for the prhenology head and black in for the brain rubber stamp.
