Description
This bright sunny scraffito mug was thrown from porcelain clay. After a coating of black slip was applied, the flower and geometric designs were carved using a technique called scraffito or sgraffito. After bisque firing the piece was finished with bright purple and clear glazes and fired again.This is the perfect mug for your coffee or tea and is sure to put a smile on your face in the morning. This mug is one of a kind and no molds or patterns are used in it's creation.
