WINKING WOOD SPIRIT

This one is a winking Wood Spirit. He measures approx. 13 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide. This is carved from a single piece of wood-cottonwood bark-found right here in Wyoming.

Color of carving is the natural color of the wood. No paints or dyes have been added. Each wood sculpture is made one at a time, hand carved, with a chainsaw, rotary carving tool or chisels. Each sculpture is signed and dated by Robert and sprayed with a clear coat varnish.

They are each ORIGINAL and ONE OF A KIND.

About the artist:

Robert C. Waits is a self taught artist. He has been carving wood, stone and glass for 20 years and has been chainsaw carving for the last 15 years. In the last few years he has won 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in chainsaw carving competitions. Also a few Artist Choice and Peoples Choice Awards along the way. His wood carvings have been featured on HGTV and The Outdoor Channel and have been sold around the world.

Robert is and always has been the owner of the ORIGINAL "THEBEARGUY" site.
