Finger Puppet Manumakali'i the Bird

Description

Manumakali'i is a little, red bird. do you see him? He's both little...and red. He's also a bird.

You pronounce his name Man-oo-mah-kah-lee-ee. Or you can just pronounce it Manumakali'i--either way, he'll respond.

He's about 2" tall (maybe just under) & fits on most adult fingers, as well as child-sized fingers(it's neat how that works).

He's made with 100% wool felt, which makes him super soft instead of eco-felt-dry. yeah, I'm totally hating on the eco-felt. Take that, ecology!

Manumakali'i is far too small for children under the age of 3 years, and technically shouldn't be handled by children under the age of 12 because he's got glass eyes (if you don't know about the CPSIA ruling saying that toys for kids 12 & under need to be tested for lead (totally cost prohibitive on one-of-a-kind finger puppets), then do a swanky google search). If you'd like me to make a toy specifically for children under the age of 12, I can do that by making a similar puppet with embroidered eyes. Apparently the CPSIA is okay with textiles. So..yeah. I can do that. Either way, he's definitely deadly to children under the age of 3 & will maybe potentially cause horrible things to happen to children 12 & under because of his glass seed bead eyes? Those eyes certainly look dangerous.
