Extra Long Skinny Nunofelt Scarf, Teal Turquoise

Description

Silk and extra fine merino wool, this two luxurious fibres were felted together to make this extra long skinny scarf. I first made it in white and then dyed to achieve this beautiful deep teal-turquoise colour which goes so well with many other colours. It is slightly shiny on the silky side, mat on the other woolly side, the picture can't do the justice to the beuty of nunofelt!

I have made one for myself too, in purple, and I love wearing it. It is just that something little to brighten my outfit and keep my neck warmer but not too warm. And a textile "neclace" since the texture of ruched silk is so interesting! And if it gets too cold, I just wrap it around the neck many times and have a warm scarf. And you should see how it flies in the Highland winds! :)

At the moment there are two scarves like this in my shop, the other one is in deep raspberry-red. They look great worn together too!
