Simplify Henry David Thoreau Long-sleeve Shirt with Linocut Image

This is one of the first linocut I carved in recent years. I love Thoreau and what he stood for. The message of simplifying is more pertinent today than ever. I carved HDT's image into a linoleum block which I hand printed onto the surface of printing paper. From the paper I silkscreened the image onto three different color LONG-SLEEVED shirts. 100% cotton. A very true-to-size style shirt.

The fun thing about this shirt is the nice people you meet when you wear it. People who know Thoreau always have a favorite quote to share with you. "Simplify" can become your daily mantra as you wear this shirt.

The cotton shirt is preshrunk, so you will not find it to shrink at all -- or not detectable to my senses. You can choose the color you like best: Texas Orange, Smoke Gray, or Brick. Wearing this long sleeved shirt is akin to wearing a very light-weight sweatshirt and much more flattering.

Here are the sizes and colors currently available:

Texas Orange: 4-small, 4-medium, 3-Large, 4-X-Large, and 1 XX-Large
Charcoal: 4-small, 4-mediums, 5-Large, 3-X-Large,3-XX-Large
Brick: (a larger cut style) 2-Large. Comparable to x-large.

Specify the size and color you want. I could custom hand-print one for you in any size or color you want if you special order through Alchemy. Hand-printed shirts cost $25 for short-sleeves and $30 for longsleeves.] This is technically a men's shirt, but women wear this shirt very well. It is a true size--not oversized--except for the brick color ones.

You may notice that the etsy listing says "One available" ... disregard that...that just means I am listing it as one, but as soon as you place an order for any size, I will relist it for the next buyer until they are gone, and that will take months.
