Buffalo Alpaca and Merino Hand Dyed Pencil Roving ( Burnt Sienna )

I love doing the unusual and this roving is just that - UNUSUAL !

This is again a cooperative collaboration. My friends Merino Lamb fleece, My Red Brown Alpaca boy and also a Coco Brown Yak fleece from a new breeder just starting in Colorado. I dyed the Merino which was a soft brown to a burnt sienna color, after it dried and I was satisfied with it I added my alpaca and the coco brown yak. Once I made the blending I then sent it to my friend who has a pin drafting machine. What a great day when the box arrived - just what I had in my mind for this combination.

You can spin this without even drafting. I have knitters who knit with it just as is and the locker hookers are over the moon using this fine, even roving. All the softness and depth of color that these marvelous animals produce has made this roving just amazing. Try it you'll LOVE IT!

60% Organic Colorado Merino Lambs Wool, 20% Organic Colorado Yak, 20% Larkspur Funny Farm Organic Alpaca

Each packet contains 1 ounce of pin draft roving.

I have many more ounces of this roving then what is listed here so if you need more please convo me and I will gladly put a special order together for you.
