Dish with Plant Motif

Description

This elegant dish is hand built from white stoneware. It measures 5.5" x 7". Beautiful for serving small delicacies like sushi, cheeses, etc. - could also hold a pillar candle, live in the bathroom to hold jewels or make-up, or in the hall for your keys... lots of possibilities.

The pale turquoise glaze is luscious and silky to the touch. The edges are glazed in a warm sienna, showing glimpses of the turquoise beneath. The graceful, imperfect shape was cut from a hand rolled slab and draped on a plaster mold. The plant motif was hand painted with black underglaze and has an elegant ink-brush feel.

The glaze is more green than blue.
