VIZZINI hand dyed The Princess Bride villian recycled bulky wool yarn 100 grams 114 yards

Description

This yarn was "recycled" (unraveled) from a high-quality, name-brand sweater. "Go Green" with your knitting!

The original color was deep rusty orange. I overdyed it with green and brown, using colorfast acidic dyes, in a totally random fashion. The 4" square swatch pictured was from the same sweater (different dye of color) on size US10.5 needles, 13 st wide x 17 rows high.

The yarn weighs an almost gram per yard! It knits up FAST and would make a GREAT beanie, hat or scarf! It would make a great mesh rucksack or handbag or slippers too! This skein contains 2 joins but NO knots. No ends to weave in later!

NOTE: This listing is for ONE skein only! This yarn will come wound into a center-pull ball. If you would rather have it in skein form, just let me know at checkout!
