Wildwood top whorl spindle for fiber spinning, from recycled pear wood and oak, signed with maker's mark

So, a storm took out our pear trees...
Unless otherwise noted, my listings are cut with a chop saw from pearwood branches, sanded with a palm-grip sander, and sealed with satin-finish clear coat for longevity. I use water-based urethane to minimize my chemical exposure (and yours!).

This listing is for the spindle pictured. The whorl is made from recycled pear wood. The spindle shaft is oak. The silver-tone hook is actually screwed in, not just glued in. The entire spindle has been clear-coated at least twice.

The spindle whorl measures approx. 1 1/2" to 1 7/8" and 3/8" thick. The spindle shaft is approx 9" from the hook to the tip.
