This beautiful wool is from a sheep called the Bluefaced Leicester. This is high quality combed top. The staple length is 3 to 4.5 inches and has a fiber count in the 56 range (micron 26). It is a beautiful high-medium grade wool - very easy to spin and the finished yarn has a nice drape.

4+oz 910BC1BFL The picture you see is the roving you will receive. If the first 5 numbers/letters are the same on other rovings listed, the same name and wool type, they are from the same dyelot.
