Linked Hematite bracelet

Description

All the delicate colors of nature captured in smooth one inch rectangles of glowing, translucent hematite. Hand crafted links of sterling wire & faceted Thai silver connect the larger lozenges of stone creating an 8 1/2" long, very lightweight, comfortable and completely unique heirloom piece. A hook and eye closure have also been created of sterling wire.

This stone is a mineral form of iron oxide, yet is harder than iron and comes in a variety of different color variations depending on conditions of its formation (see Wikipedia for more info on this fascinating stone.) It was popular in jewelry during Victorian times, and has seen a modern resurgence.

Bracelets are carefully packed in cotton filled decorative boxes to ship and are all ready to give or to keep.
