FireWorks - shredded sheet knitted with soft marshmallow and silver yarn
Description
FireWorks started life as an old white & olive green sheet, with a delicate flower motif.After being washed scrupulously clean, I ripped the sheet then knitted it with complementary trim yarns in green, white and silver.
To finish, FireWorks has a long fringe made from sari silk, the ripped sheet, some silver thread and a complementary, textured yarn in maroons.
FireWorks is recycled and upcycled, original and one of a kind.
