Here are cirlces of felt handstitched to a brown grosgrain ribbon, and finished with a pretty blanket stitch in coordinating thread.
There is a yellow felt flower with accents of grey on the top, and green leaves on the bottom of both sides of the bookmark, so no matter how you place it in your book, the images will always face the front.
Each circle measures 1 1/2" (3.8cm) in diameter, and entire bookmark measures 15" (38cm) long -- a nice length for both taller and shorter books.
