Merry Heart

Description

This design is free hand drawn with onto a wooden heart. It measures just under an 1 1/2 inches in height and across. One design is drawn and then mostly sanded off. Another design is then drawn in a darker color. This gives the piece a more complex feel for a simple design. It is colored with acrylics and protected with a couple of coats of non-toxic water based varnish. It hangs from a 32 inch light red waxed cotton cord. The cord is adjustable in length by a wooden bead which acts as a toggle. All beads on the necklace are wooden, glass or ceramic.
