Steampunk Jewelry - Antique Talisman Earrings - 100 Years Old - Brass and Cobalt

Description

Beautiful, antique, brass pocket watch plates are showcased as a set of earrings. These plates come from the American Waltham Watch Co. and are from around the turn of the 19th century (often the plates include the watch makers name and the serial number and exact production dates are listed online). "American Waltham Watch Co." is engraved on each along with "15 jewels" speaking to the number of jewels the original watch would have included in its movement.

Cobalt, glass daggers contrast gorgeously with the brass of the earrings creating a very exotic and old-world feel.

The earrings are strung from oxidized, sterling silver, hand-formed ear wires.

About items used in my work:
No antique pocket watches were harmed in my jewelry making as I only have pieces and parts.

All of my creations are unique and even if done in a series, because they are made with vintage items, no two are exactly alike. Due to the vintage and antique parts used in my jewelry and art, please do expect certain imperfections due to age. I take create care to clean each piece but I do not polish them as I like the natural antiqued patina.
