VINTAGE KITTY - SCRAPBOX COLLECTION... these pieces are pretty fly-away designs with loads of frills, ruffles, laces, vintage and modern, crochet, chiffon, silk and anything else that grabs my fancy..!

this is a SCRAPBOX mini skirt .. loads of pretty subtle soft pale blues, sky, sea and snow.. with a hint of cream and ecru.... snow queen or mermaid colours colours....... a romantic mixture of gorgeousness..!

this skirt has a layers of beautiful vintage look, pleated floral mesh fabric, very pretty, loads of hand dyed, vintage crochet doilies, pleated lace and raw edged chiffon, and pieces of antique lace with satin ribbon threaded thru it.. just beautiful...


the skirt is stretchy as it has been created from a vintage stretch half slip which becomes the lining...

the waist is elasticated which fits a variety of sizes, and can be pulled in even more with a gorgeous satin ribbon tie...

recycled and re-designed to create a beautiful one-off creation... the edges are raw and fraying to add beautiful character as well as giving it a bit of an edge of difference...

these gorgeous romantic skirts look fab with my vintage kitty tops (see my other listings), very pretty and romantic ... they look fab with tights and boots, or over jeans or on their own with bare legs... you can create lots of different looks with just one little scrapbox creation..!

they are all one of a kind..... this skirt can be worn on your waist, or lower on the hips... looks fab either way...

due to the nature of the stretchy slip used as a base, this skirt can fit a range of sizes , this one can fit LARGE and X-LARGE, PLUS sizing, can be pulled in to fit a MEDIUM, which will just look a bit fuller... measurements given are lying flat unstretched one side only, so double for full measurements...


waist across the top, side to side lying unstretched is about 19 inches (48 cm), can stretch to about 23 inches comfortably (58.5cm).. it can be pulled in smaller at the waist if youre a smaller size, as there is a satin ribbon tie at the waist as well, it will just have a fuller look ....
side to side at the hips about 24 inches unstretched (61 cm), so double that for full circumference...

waist to hem is about 19 inches...(48 cm)


NB:
*washing instructions.. hand wash in cold or tepid water and lay flat to dry..
*this skirt has hand dyed crochet, altho washed and dryed on a high heat, and the dye has been set with salt, it 'may' bleed slightly when washed and the colour may lighten slightly.. care is required...
*this skirt has vintage components.. please wear gently.. imperfections, tiny marks or repairs, if any are part of the charm of wearing beautiful re-created garments.. please know that I would not offer anything that I wouldnt wear myself..
