FIRE SWAMP hand dyed Princess Bride chunky wool blens yarn from recycled sweater

Description

This yarn was "recycled" (unraveled) from a beautiful, chunky red sweater so that you can "Go Green" with your knitting!

This skein is for the Fire Swamp, that dreadded place in the Princess Bride. It is mostly really red, with areas of deep red and maroon.

The yarn is chunky, so it knits up quickly! Also it is incredibly soft, 50% wool and 50% acrylic for durability. I have hand-dyed it with professional acid-based dyes and it has been washed in our own handmade (unscented) soap. This is a "redder" version of Blood of Dracula.

Knit up a funky hat or chunky purse! This skein contains ONE knot. Sorry but due to the strandy nature of the yarn I could not ply the join.
