Sugar Beads - Polymer Clay and Glass

The modern version of a wonderful vintage bead - usually made with glass or Lucite.

This is a set of 8 beads - 4 measuring approximately 10 MM and 4 about 7 MM.

How are they made? Each bead is formed first from polymer clay, then baked at 275 degrees for about 25 minutes. The tiny glass beads are then applied and the bead is baked again as above. The last step is a coat of Varathane (water-based polyurethane) to give extra durability and a glass-like shine.

These particular beads are a rich orange color.

Your beads will come in a silky drawstring bag. Spacer beads are included.
