ITEM: Antique Hazelle's "Popular" Marionette 801 --Teto, The Clown

CIRCA: 1950s

DETAILS: This is such a fantastic piece - reminds of some horror films featuring demonic toys - like "Poltergeist". The clown's head, hands and feet are constructed of hard white plastic. His red jumpsuit with white polka dots appears to be a soft cotton fiber. The "patented airplane control" is painted red, stamped with the maker's mark, and is made of sturdy wood. All of the strings are attached, clear of any knots, and are in perfect working order!

OVERALL CONDITION: Considering this is a half-century old, well-loved toy, (aside from a couple of very minor blemishes) it is in excellent condition! The box is in acceptable/fair condition.
